Yesterday was the first day for our newest Assistant Research Analyst: Yasemin Simsek!

Yasemin joins D3 with a strong combination of theoretical and practical knowledge in data analysis and program evaluation. She will graduate with an M.S. in Measurement and Evaluation from American University in May 2024. In her current master’s work, Yasemin focuses on data equity and culturally responsive evaluation methods for systems change. So far, she has partnered with NGOs in Kenya, Greece, and the U.S. to provide data-driven insights for program improvement. She is proficient in Turkish and Spanish, with a working proficiency in Moroccan Arabic from her experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer. Her unique background makes her a strong addition to the D3 team as an Assistant Research Analyst!
