David Jodice Elected Chair of WAPOR's Professional Standards Committee

The World Association for Public Opinion Research (WAPOR) recently held elections for two positions within the organization, and our Founder and CEO, David A. Jodice, was elected as the Chair of the Professional Standards Committee. This honor comes after 30 years of involvement in the organization as a life member, during which time Dr. Jodice had served on this committee. In this position, Dr. Jodice will be responsible for leading the final revisions of the WAPOR Code of Ethics; liaising with other professional associations in the field; and managing the next WAPOR report on the Freedom to Publish Opinion Polls.

As such, during his two years in this elected position, Dr. Jodice’s primary goals include:

  • Building a committee that consists of previous, current, and new members
  • Completing the work started under his predecessor and the Committee on the revision of the WAPOR Code of Ethics, taking into account recent updates to the AAPOR and ESOMAR Codes
  • Conducting and reporting on the next survey of Freedom to Publish Opinion Polls
  • Completing other tasks as requested by the Council

D3 is proud of Dr. Jodice and this major professional accomplishment, and we are looking forward to his success in this new position with such a prestigious organization.
