D3's 2019 Year in Review

Happy belated New Year from all of us here at D3! 2019 was another productive and rewarding year for the D3 team, especially in terms of the stronger relationships we built with some of our long-term clients like The Asia Foundation and Sesame Street. Collectively, our staff of 26 researchers and statisticians traveled over half a million miles to 31 countries, four more than last year. Of the 208 projects completed by our team, we successfully completed 188 quantitative studies, 44 cognitive interviews, and 438 in-depth interviews, among many others.

Our D3-sponsored survey tool, Research Control Solutions (RCS), was not only rebranded with a brand-new website, but was also utilized to conduct 64 surveys on tablet or mobile devices, seven more than last year. RCS expanded work into nine new countries in 2019, including Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Guyana, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Pakistan, Suriname, and Trinidad & Tobago. In addition to the project work, RCS introduced four brand new features last year: app-based calling, GPS date/time verification, limits on active interviews, and phone call recording.

Cheers to another great year! Thank you to all those who were a part of it. Looking forward to more Designing for Data-driven Decisions in 2020!
