WIMC conducts survey research in diverse and hard-to-reach areas in order to provide actionable insights into the conditions and experiences of women around the world.
The Women in Muslim Countries (WIMC) project is sponsored by D3. and has surveyed over 33,000 people on the status and rights of women in twenty-six countries since 2007. Since its inception data has been collected on a variety of themes from basic demographic information to healthcare and education access and beyond. The applications of WIMC data can be used in fields as varied as the public sector, development initiatives, and academia or non-profit organizations.
