D3 Presenting at DC AAPOR


July 21, 2014 — The Washington D.C. chapter of the American Association of Public Opinion Research (DC AAPOR) and the Washington Statistical Society (WSS) will host their annual summer conference this week from June 22nd to June 23rd at the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

D3 Systems will present three papers at the panel session “Public Opinion Measurement in the US and Abroad” at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23rd.  Topics include public opinion during the 2013 political crisis in Egypt and multi-country analysis of women’s attitudes in conflict, crisis, and post-war zones.  D3 will also present a poster highlighting the importance of understanding the telephone-owning population in Egypt for CATI research.

Other panels at the DC AAPOR/WSS conference will explore incentives and adaptive designs, imputation and estimation, social media and crowd sourcing, survey design, issues in sampling, exploring new modes and technologies.
